ABOUT NCRAAI
The National Centre of Respiratory Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (NCRAAI) is a state-of-the-art Professional, Academic and National Centre for representing the specialty of allergy at all levels. NCRAAI was inaugurated and dedicated to service on 12th February, 2011 by Prof P. N. Tandon, Chairman, Governing Body to the Institute and President, National Brain Research Centre Society. Dr V.K. Vijayan, former Director Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute has been instrumental in starting the Centre. The Centre has commenced its activities under the supervision of Dr Raj Kumar, Professor & Head, Department of Respiratory Allergy, Asthma and Applied Immunology and he is the Head of National Centre of Respiratory Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (NCRAAI).

The NCRAAI is ideally located at Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute in the heart of the main north campus of the University of Delhi. The Centre fulfills the national need for providing relief to large number of patients in the community suffering from Respiratory allergy. It has eminently discharged its role and has earned a unique place in the field of Respiratory Allergy. The main objective is to improve allergy care – through research, education, and training.
